I am Viktoria Chumak, the Ukrainian artist behind the pseudonym Pheekus, a name born from a childhood nickname that has come to symbolize my artistic journey.

My early fascination with drawing and painting led me to art school at the age of 7.

 

However, impatience and a lack of practice brought me to diverse paths, from crafting floral bouquets to studying the Arabic language. It was my stint as a confectioner that unexpectedly became a catalyst for my creative revival. The delicate artistry of pastry-making reawaken a passion that had been dormant for too long.

The pivotal moment came during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. I found comfort in the quietude and seized the opportunity to rediscover my true calling. Same year, I decided to kindle my artistic pursuits and enrolled in art academy
